Suns out☀️ and you want your party outside?! We’re with you! BUT we also have to keep it real in terms of our advice on balloons 🎈 We spend hours and hours creating your displays and weather can be unpredictable. Here’s some things to think about….. - Where you place your display?- is it sheltered/ shaded? - Wind 💨 is a BIG No No with outdoor displays! They are just ‘displays’ and we can weight them for you but if wind whips the balloons your display will not be looking its finest - Sun ☀️ balloons don’t have sun cream … so if you leave them in direct sunlight they do deteriorate ( pop and go matt if they are latex). Having said that a lot of displays still look great when we return to collect. - Rain ☔️ balloons are fine in the rain… but will become ‘sticky’ and pop if they are exposed to weather conditions! 👋 Hi Everyone! Thought I’d post this while it’s tidy in here! 😆 We have a large amount of enquiries for this year already! 🙂So make sure you book with plenty of time. We recommend 3/4 months in advance as you all know we get really booked up! ( and we always have to turn people away). For events over 4 weeks away you can reserve your date with a 50% deposit and pay the balance 4 weeks prior to the event. OR if you’d like to reserve your date but don’t know what decor you’d like yet you can do this with a £100 deposit ( if your event is over 4 weeks away). There’s been a LOT of funny things that we’ve been asked as Balloon Artists BUT one of the funniest is: ‘ Hello, Can I hire a balloon arch’ 😂😂😂 I mean how do you hire one?! On par with another of my favourites…. ‘If I supply you with all the materials will you make something for me’…… obviously the answer to both of these is NO! We make everything bespoke, we can’t hire a balloon arch out it would just never work… and we don’t use anything but the best branded balloons so we would never use cheap balloons given to us ( it’s true there are different qualities)…. I mean would you phone a restaurant and ask for them to cook with your own ingredients?! I wouldn’t 🤣🤣🤣 Sometimes I get off the phone puzzled 😂. Who’s with me?!! Read this 👇🏻 and save for your party planning 1) Send the guest list out 3 months in advance to make sure you have everyone you want available for your party 2) Venue - make sure it’s availble for a set up period before and after your party! And that it’s a clean venue as the kids are on the floor a lot! ( sounds obvious but we have seen some not so clean venues) 3) Food- kids love party food… to save money and food wastage you can allocate childrens lunch boxes with your picnic places. On site caterers are a great otpion to take the stress away! 4) Event styling- this has the capability to transform your venue…. So make sure you book your balloons and decor months in advance… you can then ensure everything matches colour wise. We have seen some pretty offensive things where soft play and bouncy castles aren’t booked in line with a colour pallet! 😂- which is a shame when so much thought has gone into the main display 5) Entertainment- either book a child’s entertainer/ an activity for the kids to do or a bouncy castle/ soft play is a great option! Let’s face it the more time the children are entertained the more time you get to socialise! 6) Cake- last but not least, book a cake maker with good reviews! We have seen some wonky cakes in our time… experience in this field really matters!
